Owls in the Pines
There are many kinds of owls. Some equate them with wisdom or fear their sounds at night. These beautiful animals are God’s creation and deserve our respect. They are often thought to have a spiritual connection.
For me, these birds are beautiful in any species. On the farm I heard barn owls, screech owls, and the hoot owls. Their eyes are very bright at night which probably causes more fear than their sound. They keep the population of field mice and other pests under control.
They are often depicted in art because of their unique appearance and beauty. I say, let them be wise, but done be scared whether they’re light colored or dark. They’re fascinating creatures.
