The Bunny Under the Rosebush : are one animal I don't have to live in the country to see. They're independent and often beautiful. As long as they're not eating our flowers, I welcome them.

Are urban bunnies as independent and resilient as their rural counterparts? What adaptations do they exhibit to thrive in an urban environment, and what challenges do they face?

In the country (rural) areas, as you say they are mostly wild. Some people do raise them and some are pets. I’m not sure about urban areas but from what I’ve seen on the internet, they probably do live in parks like Central Park. The biggest danger is being run over by a vehicle. I have seen people in public areas in cities have little treats for them. They tend to become more tame and hop up to people expecting a treat. They can be pests around any vegetable garden but there are ways to discourage them. Thank you for asking.
