Mountain Waterfall

Imagine you're standing next to this beautiful waterfall. You can stand anywhere, on a rock face, at the bottom or looking down at the mountain goats jumping across at a narrow outcropping.

If you were standing at the base of this mountain waterfall, you’d probably be amazed at the sheer power of it as it plunges down into a river or lake.

Mountain waterfalls are often known for their power. They are also seen as enchanting and often spiritual for the spray and soothing sounds as they flow to the bottom. For many they represent renewal and raw power.

In some cultures, they represent the divine as a means of purification, and connection to the divine.

Whatever you believe, there is an awe that mountains and mountain waterfalls evoke in almost everyone who has the chance to experience standing at the bottom of a one.

Some of the best-known waterfall include:

Niagara Falls with a drop of 167 feet.
Victoria Falls with a drop of 355 feet
Angel falls drop an amazing 3,312 feet

There are many more around the world.

I hope this painting gives some experience as to some of the features. Maybe you’ll take a trip to some waterfalls for the full experience.
